1. Who We Are

ForumFlow ("the App", "we", "us") is a third-party application available on the Wix App Market, developed by Michael Adam. The App provides a community forum widget that Wix site owners ("Site Owners") can install on their Wix sites for use by their site visitors and members ("End Users").

2. What Data We Collect

When End Users interact with a ForumFlow-powered forum, we collect and store the following data:

• Wix Member ID — a unique identifier assigned by Wix to each logged-in user, used to associate posts with their author.
• Display name — for logged-in members, the member's Wix profile nickname; if the nickname is missing or looks like an email address, the first name and last-name initial; otherwise "Member". For guest visitors, the name they enter when posting.
• Forum content — thread titles, thread bodies, and replies submitted by users.
• Likes — which members liked which threads and replies.
• Site instance ID — a Wix identifier that scopes all forum data to the specific site on which the App is installed.
• Timestamps — date and time of post creation and, if edited, of the last edit.
• Account type — whether a post was made by a logged-in member or a guest visitor.
• Team status — whether the Site Owner has marked a member as part of their team, used to display a Team badge next to that member's name.

We do not collect End Users' email addresses, passwords, payment information, or any sensitive personal data. When a Site Owner installs the App, we use the Site Owner's email address, as provided by Wix, only to send a one-time welcome email.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To display forum threads and replies on the site where the App is installed.
• To attribute posts to their authors using display names.
• To enforce site-specific permissions set by the Site Owner (e.g., members-only posting).
• To allow users to edit and delete their own posts.
• To maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the App. Authorized personnel may access stored forum data solely for these purposes, such as investigating errors or responding to support requests.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than operating the forum.

4. Data Storage & Security

Forum data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Supabase (Frankfurt region, EU). Access to the database requires a secret service-role key that is never exposed to the browser or widget. All communication between the widget and our servers occurs over HTTPS. Row-Level Security (RLS) is enabled on the database.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. We use the following sub-processors to operate the App: Supabase (database hosting, EU region), Cloudflare (application hosting), and Resend (transactional email to Site Owners). Each processes data only as needed to provide its service.

6. Data Retention

Forum posts are retained as long as the App is installed on the site. If a Site Owner uninstalls ForumFlow, their site's data may be deleted upon request. Individual users may delete their own posts at any time through the forum interface.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email address below. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies & Tracking

ForumFlow does not use cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics scripts. User identity is established through Wix's built-in authentication tokens — no separate login or cookie is set by our App.

9. Children's Privacy

ForumFlow is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has submitted data through the App, please contact us so we can delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using ForumFlow ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App. These Terms apply to both Site Owners (who install the App) and End Users (who use the forum on a site).

2. Description of Service

ForumFlow provides a community forum widget for Wix websites. The App allows site visitors and members to create discussion threads and replies on sites where it is installed. The App is distributed through the Wix App Market and governed by Wix's platform terms in addition to these Terms.

3. Site Owner Responsibilities

Site Owners who install ForumFlow are responsible for:

• Ensuring their use of the App complies with applicable laws and Wix's Terms of Service.
• Moderating content posted on their forum and removing content that violates their site's rules.
• Informing their site members about data collection practices as described in the Privacy Policy above.
• Not using the App to facilitate illegal activity, harassment, or harm.

4. End User Conduct

Users of ForumFlow-powered forums agree not to post content that:

• Is unlawful, defamatory, abusive, threatening, or harassing.
• Infringes on any intellectual property rights.
• Contains spam, malware, or malicious links.
• Violates the rules set by the Site Owner of the forum you are using.

5. Intellectual Property

The ForumFlow application, its code, design, and branding are the intellectual property of Michael Adam. Users retain ownership of the content they post. By posting content, you grant ForumFlow a limited license to store and display that content as part of operating the forum service.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

ForumFlow is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose. Your use of the App is at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ForumFlow and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or reputational harm.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to discontinue the App or terminate access for any Site Owner who violates these Terms. Site Owners may uninstall the App at any time through their Wix dashboard.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Israel.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
